AT8WFF - Love and Kisses from World Flora and Fauna.

Greetings from Bannerghatta National Park,

On occasion of 54th Wildlife Week - October 1st to 7th, 2008 BARC members operated this special station setup at Bannerghatta National Park and this was a first such National Park operating station under the guidelines of World Flora and Fauna.

Nine Amateur Radio Operators were on the air working this special callsign. Bangalore Amateur Radio Club - VU2ARC had conducted its field day at Barber's Rock many years ago, which was outside National Park, now the same is included within National park !!!

Bannerghatta is also now known for the World's Biggest Butterfly Park inaugurated in 2006 costing Rupees Five Crores.
